BLOOMSBURY ROADS ARE LIKELY TO BE COMPLETELY CLOSED TO TRAFFIC ALONG SOUTH, EAST AND WEST BORDERS
It is important for local residents and businesses to know that due to TfL's Streetspace for London plans, all major roads bordering the south, east and west sides of the east Bloomsbury area are likely to be closed to motor vehicles, apart from buses and emergency vehicles. BRAG supports walking and cycling initiatives - especially for improved air quality - but is concerned about the impact of these changes upon residents' quality of life, and particularly the impact on deliveries - we need our small shops and local businesses to survive Covid-19.

It is obvious to everybody who lives and works in the area that this scheme is not working and has other serious knock on consequences. I doubt that the people who decided to implement this scheme left the office and took out a map and said what shall we do today - "lets mess up Tavistock Place!!!"
